Well, to those following my career... I got confirmation yesterday that I have my arena audio department contract for the new building here.

Good show, Bren; they certainly made a sound decision.

Bren,
if you don't mind me asking, when will the new place be operational? I recalled hearing that the first hockey games would be in November sometime. Are they still on schedule? On a side-note are you taking in the Power Ball to send out the Arena in style? (maybe you can snaffu yourself some genuine stadium seeting for the ht). Sounds like it will be a decent concert, pretty solid collection of acts.

Congrats, Bren.

For those of us that care but don't follow closely enough to retain details, can you share more about the location and configuration of this glorious entertainment edifice?

So much for any shred of anonymity I would have had.

Yeah, that's the new place... my bunker's below ground level away from the great unwashed.

Sid - the whole sked's up there... everything's going to be on time (though I think they'll be driving the last screws just as I'm powering it up the first time) and no, I'm not going to the Power 8 Ball, Inward Eye would be the only band I'd want to see and since they end up opening for other shows I go to, it's kind of pointless... besides, lifetime, I've only been a paying customer at an arena gig twice (Iron Maiden - 88 - Somewhere in Time and Metallica - 93 - Black album).
