Can I just put my C150 on the floor since my big FP screen is going from the ceiling to the ground?

Thanks

I've got to assume you mean VP150. Floor placement...ehh...well, it certainly wouldn't be my first choice. How big is that damned screen, anyway?

How about putting the vp150 behind the screen on a stand at ear level? Is that possible?

Sorry it's vp-150. The screen is about 35cm above the floor and ceiling hanging.

I assume you are referring to a VP150? If so, for Front Projection environments you have to place your center either below or above the screen. I'm curious why you would have a screen that goes from ceiling to floor? My screen is 16:9 (1.78 AR) 5ft x 9 ft, which averages about 120" diagonal depending on what movie format I'm watching. So if you have 7ft ceilings that would compute to about a 121/2 ft width, assuming your making a 1.78AR screen. What is the point. Not sure if you have a DLP or LCD projector, but usually you want to be back at least 1.5 times the screen width, which with the above assumptions, you would be almost 19ft back from the screen.

You need to allow for room for your speakers (mains, center, sub, etc....) I built a stage below my screen that is made from 2 x 8's, and my center, sub, and mains sit on that, with my screen being above that......

just my 2 cents.

there is no way to put it behind the screen since the screen is right on the front wall. The speaker performs very well(it iss the Epic80 system). Didn't feel the voice coming from the ground when watching the movie.

PP, welcome. That should work very well. The 150 should be positioned upside-down so that the slanted surface will point the speakers upward.

Ahh that makes perfect sense to me. If the center channel performs well for you in that position then let it be. Sometimes compromises have to be made. I don't see any harm having it on the ground.

JohnK,
Thank you very much! I even didn't think about put vp150 that way! Is there any effect on the upside-down since the only pity is the "Axiom" logo looks not so right :-).

Thanks!
