While I won't rejoice at anyone's death .... I certainly won't be feeling sad over this one. Considering his lifestyle it was hardly unexpected.

Peter, it's certainly to be hoped that his comeback album, although not totally completed, will be released as a memorial. I understand that it's in multi-channel SACD and that the higher resolution of mighty fines coming at you from all angles is a truly thrilling experience.

Show some respect and decency people.
First things first, if you know nothing about the man other than what you just read in a short and poorly written article, maybe you shouldn't be throwing around names and praising their death.
While ODB was not a saint, he was a human being, and one who was part of a lot of good. He certainly had his problems, but so do a lot of people. Without getting into too many details, the picking up the welfare check in a limo was a stunt to show the rediculousness of the system to people, not him being a "scumbag". Also, his group, The Wu-Tang Clan did A LOT of good for their cummunity. Rather than spend their money on bling, a lot of it was put back into the communities they came from, such as local shelters, cummunity centers, etc...
Sorry if this seems like a rant, but I find it quite disrespectful and ignorant to insult/mock/praise the death of someone whom you know NOTHING about.
thanks

i think if he could afford to ride around in a limo, his children should have never even been able to get those stamps,to me that is a huge slap in the face to people like me that pay taxes to support people that abuse the system, ive seen it done, and it makes me sick-maybe i was a little harsh on what i said, and i dont get any joy from anyones death-so i apoligize if anyone was offended, ill end my part in this now because bickering on the web is not my style
