To me, I think I won't pay anything more than B-Stock price's 80% for used axiom. I got my M60(perfect condition) used from a posting in the buy/sell forum from hometheaterforum.com for $500 + shipping = $545.

Recently, there was a posting in this forum which a guy was selling a pair of QS8 but he didn't list price. I quote $300+shipping for him and he said "no where in hell he would sell it that low". I thought again, $300 + shipping would be around $330 to $340. I would rather pay $60 more for b-stock then $60 for a regular user.

What do you guys think? How much are you willing to spend on used axioms? What price is the break even point that you would go for b-stock rather than a used pair?

I totally agree with you Type_E, no more than 80-82% of B-Stock prices when buying used...It's 100% better to buy them discounted at the site with free shipping!! Way to go...Actaully Type_E, that should be a standard for the ones in the best condition. No more that 80% of B-stock price for used Axioms (or ANY speakers), yeah!

but then again, the b stocks often take weeks to recieve, so you would be paying for recieving the speakers sooner.

Most people on audiogon and canuckaudiomart sell their used gear at %40-%60 off the bought price not even retail. If its not in that price range it will be growing cobwebs. Thats just how the used market is. If one wants it sold they just have to give it away for a song...and suck it up.
