Hi, just got my M60i, QS4 and vp100 (color maple with black grille) on Monday evening (a wait for less than 3 week). I don't have an updated HT recevier (I've a Pioneer old VSX 9500S bought in 1989) No latest features.

I didn't spend much time in testing. My first impression of M60i in stereo is very good, vivid human voice and a clear stage (I listen to some music concert). It's not as 'forward' as I'm afraid. I get used to KEF 105.2 'warm sound'. Therefore my risk is over (I didn't hear any Axiom speaker before my purchase)

Back to the question, I test the QS4 and put on top of M60i using 3 Campbell Soup can for each QS4 as stand (I reluctant to spend over $150 for the stand (my wife laugh it's a Campbell Soup speaker). I connect it to my Pioneer rear speaker. When I play the dvd music concert, I found there are more depth in the stage, the singer voice become more 'out' from the speaker and into the stage. My wife and I both feel the sound is richer. We tried several times (some with M60 in main, m60i in main and qs4 in rear) with the same volume. At present, we feel better with both speakers (M60 and QS4) on. Is this our illusion or just the addition sound from QS4 made it 'better'?

From the design, QS4 is more or less like Bose's design (more reflection sound than direct). Anyone has try this before? I'll spend more time in the weekend to see what I really like most.

ps. I need to save some money for my new HT receiver.

as long as you like it then why not, at one point I'd even stack the M2 ontop of M22, but the imaging and soundstaging were crap so I scratched that idea.
