hello all, noob here. i just got my axioms today. m50, 2 sets of qs8, vp150 and SVSub. all for a 7.1 setup. i also have the denon 3805. question is...do i need to get an amp to power my speakers or is the reciever good enough? room is 15 X 20. thanks.

I think the 3805 will be fine unless you like it really loud.

I ran the M50's with the 3805 and you will be fine. If you go DB crazy, you may want to add another amp to the fronts but we are talking some serious DB's before you will feel the need for it.

I have the 2805 and M60's and it does fine, I would think the 3805 with more ump, would be just fine.

No, you don't necessarily need amps unless you want cleaner, fuller, and no strained sound at reference levels.
