Hi,
I was wondering if it would be safe for my M60ti and EP350 if I were to set my receiver to 6ohms or 4ohms. The M60 and EP350 are rated for 8ohms. In addition, any downside to running the QS8 and VP150 at 8ohms?

Thanks!

Setting the receiver to 6 or 4 ohms lowers the output. I'd run it at 8 ohms, unless it's thermally shutting down. BTW, the EP350 (as a subwoofer with it's own amp) should not be entered into consideration here; the receiver's amp doesn't have anything to do with it!

It would certainly be safe to run the 8 ohm speakers at a lower power rating (which is what the switch usually does).

I agree. The 8ohm setting should be fine.
