Greetings to all,
I am new to this and hope you can help me understand the result from YPAO.
I just bought Yamaha RX-V2500 and Axiom Epic Grand Master. Here's the YPAO result for "Auto Setup|Level".
Front (left) +1.5 dB
Front (right) +1.5 dB
Center -1.0 dB
Surr. (left) +0.5 dB
Surr. (right) -1.0 dB
SubWfr 0.0 dB
Does this mean my right surround speaker sounds louder than the left one?
Many thanks.

From the listening position...yes. If one is further away than the other, then the adjustment will be different, so that from where you're sitting, they'll sound the same.

Thanks a lot.
Both surround speakers are of the same distance to the listening position. The right surround speaker is at a corner. May be that's why it sounds louder. I guess I can rely on the receiver to make the adjustment for me.

With my Denon 2805 Setup for HT movies: M60's +5db, VP150 center +5.5db, EP350 sub -2db, left surround +8db, and right is +7db. The setup does take into account the room accoustics, etc...
