Axiom Home Page Forums General Discussion Home Theater what is axioms warranty?

i cant seem to find it anywhere, i thought i had read somewhere it was 5 years? also does it only apply to original owners? i thought it followed the speaker not the owner??

From the back of my M60 Manual:

"The Axiom Warranty
AXIOM CANADA, INC. warrants this audio loudspeaker system (the 'product') to be free from original manufacturing defects in the materials and workmanship for five years (amplified subwoofer, 1 year) from date of purchase from an authorized Axiom dealer. This warranty extends only to the original consumer purchaser."

On the web site, it says:

"Our towers, bookshelves, surrounds and center-channel speakers are warrantied against manufacturer's defects for five years. Our powered subwoofers are guaranteed against manufacturer's defects for a period of one year."
