While surfing the web iv'e noticed that US vendors such as Tower ,Cd universe ,Arkive ,Amazon and others do not offer any Japanese classical sacd's.I tried some sites in Japan but since my Japanese is a bit rusty these days I did not make much progress.I do know that they offer much more classical sacd's then that which is available here.Is anyone aware of websites in the USA that offer Japanese sacd's? your input would really be helpful.

Have you tried googling with "English Only" enabled in the preferences?

Arthur, you've named some of the major U.S. sites for classical CDs(hbdirect is another one). I'm wondering if you're looking for some specific compositions or performances or just looking to try a few SACDs to see if there's any difference. Arkiv, for example, has 575 classical SACDs listed and there might be some of interest to you. I'm not personally aware that there're all that many more available in Japan.

I am not looking for any specific sacd's.I do remember hitting a Japanese website not long ago that listed many sacd's not available in the US (mostly BMG or JVC) or England. I just don't remember which one. The prices were listed in Yen and seemed to be quite high in price.I did try HMV Japan but there selection was limited ,less then what is available in the US.

Import lp's, cassettes, and cd's (from Japan)..... have always been the most difficult to find, and usually the most expensive too.
The quality of the titles I have, and have seen are usually VERY good, as well. This may be the case for what you are looking for too.
