sgtpepper- if your main interest is just in 2 channel, then the 3805 would really be overkill. dont get me wrong, it is an awesome receiver, as is all the denon products.. but, if you have no intention of ever hooking up a true 5.1 HT system, then you dont really need it. i would save the money, and get a great 2 channel powerhouse. now, if you ever do think you might want to set up the full 5.1, then get the 3805, it will be exactly what you are looking for..

just my opinion...

Hey, thanks for the info John. That's exactly what I've been considering, and why I've decided to try both. I figure if an integrated amp sounds that much better, which I'm not sure yet that it will, I'll stay with 2-channel for now. I also have several SACDs and DVD-As and I'm interested in hearing them in multi-channel, but I don't think it's worth investing in a bunch of multi-channel gear just for that. So, that's why I'm A/Bing the two. One of them will go back. Actually, both will probably go back and I'll get a refurb from ecost.

Thanks
