I am putting my QS4s on the wall, and wonder what the best place is. The listening position is basiclly against the back wall so I can't put them behind the listener. How far away from the back wall should they be?

Michael, since you won't be able to place them any distance behind your sitting position, just leave enough room, say 6-12", from the rear wall for the back tweeter to bounce some sound off that wall.
