The problem with the meter is that it is yet another hyper-addictive geek toy. I already find myself clicking it on
constantly and tweaking things mostly for the sake of tweaking
things. I have also already cleared my schedule for the next few evenings to work out how to connect the thing to my laptop so I graph spl data.

BTW: On the menu last night: 1 bottle Macallan scotch, "Black Hawk Down" Superbit edition, The Beach Boys "The Pet Sounds Sessions," and "Time Out" by the Dave Brubeck Quartet. Wifes' choices: "Feels Like Home" by Norah Jones (She kept looking to see if there was a grand piano in the room)and "Sticky Fingers" by the 'Stones ("It doesn't sound
that great." "Yes, dear. You remembeer when I said we should
start replacing older CD's with the digitally remastered versions? Well..."). All in all, a great auditory feast. To quote one H.J. Simpson: "ghaarrrrllllmmmmm."
