I do have a small but quick sub (NHT SW10ii). And I'm in a rather small room. Sub plus 22's equals Nirvana? You've forced me to give them a try. I promise. Plus, aren't ya'll curious about how Paradigm and Axiom spin that "Canadian sound?" (I know I am.) I just have one question for you Axiom vets: Is this one big happy family? Or is the M60 posse the Empire and the 22/M3/M50 clan the Rebellion?

It's one big happy family. BTW, the 22s belong with those 60 jerks.

Nice thread title.

I have a pair of M3's (Axiom's) and I'd place them in between *brite* and *laid back*.

I power them with a HK.

Agree with the between "b(word)" and "laid-back" assessment, uh, how bout "relaxed or easygoing"? Like a happy dude "hat on the back of the head" attitude, where the hat can be pushed foreward quickly for "action".

It IS a good thread title, isn't it?

As far as politics, Yes, we are one big happy family, speaking with just one voice, albiet with slightly different dialects or inflections. As a currently running thread is pointing out, there may be two major camps here, but it takes some pretty critcal listening to tell them apart. All of us share the same tweet, and all our floor standers bark with the same woofs. All walking the same neutral line just some leaning slightly foreward or back. Yeah, pretty much the same voice.

Hey, how bout that company name change? AMIE???

Rich

Hey. I just now ordered a pair of M22s in Boston Cherry. Can't wait to hear how they sound. I imagine they will have a similar sounding top with just a bit more forward mids than my Paradigms. I'll keep ya'll posted. Thanks for schoolin' me in the ways of the Axiom Zeitgeist. If I keep them will you'all teach me the secret handshake?

You got it! Handshake info will be "In The Mail" Right
away, just as soon as...

Hope you like your M22s, they've got a growing and enthusiastic following, you'll be in very good company
indeed.

Yes, by all means, keep us posted, and if you can, send pics
of your set-up.

Rich.
