I work with a lady who's son was just cast as a new regular on the show for the second season (Ronon Dex).

She is pretty excited about it.

Neat! I'm a big fan of both Atlantis and Stargate SG-1.

Don't want to change the subject on ya you East sider , but the next Superman is the son of a teacher that works with my wife, that is getting pretty close to home for us South siders

Atlantis is Pay Per View in the Toronto area -- it seemed pretty darned expensive for a TV show.

OK Sirquack, see if you can top this... I have a cousin who was an actress (Shanda Besler) until she got married to a professional baseball player (Eric Munsen)...

Well let me know if this tops that, my Dad sang on Ed Sullivan in 59.

and I've got the DVD to prove it....

My wife and her brother (on seperate occassions) were contestants on the Bozo Show as kids....

SO far, I think Ajax is winning. My sister and I were an extra in a movie once, and while we were on screen for a good 15 seconds, you wouldn't see us.

It was in the movie Field of Dreams froma while back. At the end of the movie, there is a very long line of cars waiting to get to the field (If you build it, they will come...) and we are in the section that is where the cars are facing towards the camera (vertical on your TV).

We got nothing for it, and just had to sit there for a few hours doing nothing until it was dark enough to film a few times. Today that would have just been done on a computer.

OK, so not that big of a deal, I know...

This is kind of fun though.

Atlantis is not pay for view in Toronto. If you pay for regular Rogers digital cable it is in the Series section of Movie on Demand channel 208 which is part of the package. All the chapters are on there right now.

Atlantis does rocks. Another good one is Regenesis.

OK, that's interesting. I'm only in Toronto for a few more months then moving out to where the cable doesn't reach... (north of Bowmanville) but it might be worth getting digital for a few months anyways.

Atlantis is a really fun show, I'd say its getting to be just as good as SG-1. They are prolly in my top5 shows right now.

Is it coming out soon on DVD or do I finally have to give in and get digital cable ? I don't even have a TV hooked up right now...
