This is for the Mozilla experts out there. I have discovered that my password is not being accepted at certain web sites while using the Firefox browser. An example is that I cannot check my yahoo email, since my password isn't being accepted. I tried it at work and there is no problem. But, with my home computer I am having this password rejection problem. HELP!

littleb,
Try resetting the stored passwords for those pages if you have not already done so. Perhaps on the first time around the wrong pass was entered which mozilla/firefox now continues to use on your home computer. The password manager is found under the tools header. It can show the present passwords for each stored site so you can verify their accuracy. If it is incorrect, delete the entry and try again.
That's about all that comes to my mind on this problem.

Cool, I didn't know there was a way to see the passwords. I've been using Firefox for a while. Personally, I think it's WAY more user friendly than explorer. I like the fact that my home page now has multiple tabs.

Weird, just cut and pasted it. Anyways the gist of it is that there was a security issue with firefox. You can find the story at cnn.com. This seems to work now

Chess,

Thanks again for the advice. Just a note for anyone else experiencing a similar problem. My problem was that somehow yahoo was lasted in my cookie exemptions. It was an easy fix. You just have to know where to look.
