How close can the QS's be mounted to the ceiling before the sound is effected? The layout of my 12'x 22' room is somewhat funky, with a door opening right where I need to mount one of the QS4s. There is 2' from the top of the door opening to the ceiling and I am thinking about splitting that which would have the surrounds mounted a foot from the ceiling...is that too close?

Also I wonder if mounting the surround above the door opening would take away from the sound, the door is opened most often.

I have 4 qs8's On the side one is mounted over the door 6" down from the ceiling (that doorremains open a lot) the back 2 are mounted off the ceiling with the FM bracket. The sound is tremendous. I wouldn't worry at all.
