Hello, I have a Harman Kardon avr75 70 wpc, I will be using strictly for stereo. I will also be using a older Yamaha powered sub. Would the M22 be enough or should I step up to the M40's. Any comments and suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

I don't have either, but the M22's seem to get extremely rave reviews.

Hi stumper,

The M22ti's have wonderful midrange and upper octave clarity. The M40s are more laid-back and a bit more recessed in the mids, rather like the M3ti bookshelf model.

It depends on your musical tastes, because the speakers have different character. The M40 is the better speaker for popular recordings, while the accuracy of the M22 shows itself off with classical and jazz music.
