That is good news, indeed. My father has been struggling with congestive heart failure for the past couple years. I fear that he is not getting better.

I just read this thread for the first time today. I usually don't look on this board....

I'm glad to here you're father kicked the big C in the nuts. I'm also greatful that you shared this. I had absolutely no idea men could get breast cancer.

Great to hear that your father is going to be alright Steve. And a happy belated B-Day to him from Saskatoon.

As usual I'm a little late to read and post but I'm glad to hear your father is ok Steve. I've been fortunate in that cancer has never really touched any of my family or close friends, at least til recently. I started dating a girl in December last year and she had always had a problem with cysts and in January they found out that she had cancer. She had surgery and has been receiving chemo since then that will continue for several months. Hopefully she will be OK. Her outlook on life is extraordinary considering what she's going through. As a side note yesterday one of my best friends got married and in order to see the bride and groom kiss you had to make a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society collection box. I've never seen that at a wedding before, a great idea I think.
