I don't remember seeing a Poll on this before, so here goes....

From time to time, I see posts where people are inquiring about ordering from the Factory Outlet or not. As we all know, these are not refurbished speakers. Technically, they are every bit as good as the regular stock, however, they MAY have small blemishes that don't pass Axiom's high quality control standards. In most cases you can't find anything cosmetically wrong. As far as warranty goes, there is also is no difference.

So here is the poll.

Good call Ken, I tried to edit the post but it won't let me unless I delete it...so I guess those folks could use the Regular or Non-FO option , assuming your talking about the custom finish Axioms?

OK, OK. Yeah, that's what I was talking about. I voted for all new, then.

I don't have speakers, you insensitive clod! Sorry. (inside joke, for some)

But really, I couldn't vote because I have a mix of Axiom regular inventory (VP100), FO (M22s), and other brand (SVS and Cambridge Soundworks).

I have all Factory Outlet speakers (60s/150/QS8s) and I have to say I am disgusted with their appearance.

I was expecting minor blemishes but I have to say there is absolutely nothing wrong with them at all, nothing. They look just like "A" stock; I can't find a single thing wrong with them.

I've complained about the lack of blemishes to Axiom and they have promised that if I bring my speakers to the First Annual Axiom Customer Appreciation Day Picnic they will be happy to tie them behind a pickup and drag them around some of Dwight's finest gravel roads.

Although some of you may be applauding this level of customer service let me be the first to point out that these blemishes are added after the fact and in all honesty should have been part of the original manufacturing process.

All I can do is to offer my services to Axiom. I'm free every Monday/Tuesday to blemish Factory Outlet speakers so that future customers don't have to go throught the disappointment and heartbreak of ordering Factory Outlet and then not finding any blemishes.

on side note, it is nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune.
