Placed the VP150 on top of my SONY 40XBR700 and it causes the colos to change like reds to a pinkish color only about 2 to 3" down from the top like a smear as it fades away.
I thought that this speaker was shielded to prvent this problem?
What can be done to correct this?
Is this because I have a Direct view TV and not a projection?

Thanks Druie

Hi,

No, the VP150 has extra shielding to prevent magnetic interference on the vast majority of direct-view sets. However, a few complaints have surfaced from a couple of owners of large-screen direct-view sets.

Call Joe Vassallo, Axiom's service manager, on our toll-free line. A shielding magnet might have become detached from one of the VP150 drivers. You can get a sheet of 20-gauge cold-rolled sheet steel from a metal shop to place underneath the VP150 if there's no way around this problem.
