I'm deciding between these two speakers for the first step in upgrading my ht. I heard the M60tis at a friends appt and really liked them, but I am happy with my current sub, an HSU vtf2, so I'm wondering what benefit I'd get from the M60tis as opposed to the M22tis. I may just end up moving the M22s to the back, or keeping them up front and getting some M3tis or something for the rears. I listen to mostly punk, garage, irish, and will be using it about 50/50 movies/music, in a room about 12x16 or so. After I upgrade my speakers I'll be upgrading my Yamaha HTR5450 to something with preouts with a decent amp for the fronts/stereo, if that affects anyone's opinion. Thanks for the info

The M22's and M60's are Axiom's best speakers. You basically get more bass extension with the M60's. If you're happy with a sub, then you can save money and go with M22's. You won't be wasting the speaker, however, if you get the M60's. It also handles loud volumes better.
