I have tinnitus in both ears.I got it about six months ago after a long bout with a sinnus infection. The ENT says with daily care of the sinnus trouble he ( and I ) hopes it can be some what controlled,at least not get any worst..At first it was driving me crazy but now I'm pretty much getting used to it.

Adaptation is an interesting thing. At first it pretty much drove me nuts. I am noticing over time that it doesn't bother me quite as much. It's taking awhile to become less bothersome, but I notice it is happening nonetheless. The whole idea of adaptation I find fascinating.
It's still amazing to me how many folks have it.

I also have Tinnitus, but I can shut it off for critical listening! And I do!
The only problem is that I have to plan ahead a couple of days...and give up my heart medication!!
