Hello,
UPS screwed up my shipment, so 1 m60 and 2 qs8s arrived and I am waiting for my ep500, 1 m60 and vp150 to come in.
I couldn't wait, so I hooked up my m60 to my receiver and put the mode on stereo.
WOW!!!!!!!!!
I put in Sade Lovers Live DVD and I could not believe what I was hearing. The high hat and cymbals (SP) were so crisp. Having been a musicial 10 years ago, it reminded me of a nice jam!
I was able to get it up to +6 with absolutely no trouble. My receiver has 120 wpc, and it was really loud!!!!!
Then I popped in my Queen DVD and listened to the rock and roll version of "we will rock you". I couldn't believe it! The DVD is in THX. What will it sound like with all of my speakers???
I then took it off and hooked up my little tiny sony center and fronts and sub. I had to adjust the crossover to 150 to get even a decent sound!
I am so excited. UPS better have my stuff to my by tomorrow!!!

Does your receiver have Direct or Pure Direct modes. I find those to be better than just Stereo, at least on my Denon 2805..

Good Point, all Axiom's are shipped via 2nd Fed Express, not sure why "Brown" would be delivering them?

fedex does not go everywhere so i think on rare occasions they have to use ups

LOL I think you might be the first person to be impressed with a single floorstander!
Congrats on the purchase, M60's rock!
EDIT: Mark, since he has only 1 M60 should we give him the secret decoder ring now or later

Mine came purolator. After 10min of running my M60's I had a blown woofer (poping all kinds) so I had a bad "first run" experience. Box was kinda beat up so I had another woofer sent a few days later.
