The 635 is an excellent AVR I think you will be quite happy. You have a high current receiver that will be pushing some very sensitive M80s. You will be in audio bliss.

That is good to know... I had resigned myself to buying HK from Futureshop; good to know there is an alternative. Thanks !!

The only time to buy HK from FutileShop is around Christmas when they usually have a very deep discount on a few but not all HK receivers. We (Canadians) are taken to the cleaners by the Canadian distributor so we really have to be inventive/courageous when purchasing HK.

I bought used from the nicest man in San Diego and have had zero regrets.

zack, I have the HK630 and the Epic 80. The HK630 has a lot of power and will definitely play the M80's louder than I think you'll care to hear them. I don't know, maybe you really want to go deaf. Mine plays very loud and sounds great.

I'm not denying the fact that the HK7300 does have more power and it is the top of the HK line, but wait until you hear the HK635 before you make any decision on the HK7300. I think you'll be be plenty pleased with your current purchase.

As far as anything else is concerned, you can use seperate amps for just the fronts if you really want more power to the M80's and leave the rest of the speakers for the HK635 to power and you will be fine.

The HK635 is an excellent receiver.
