Anyone else watching? I can only hope it's as good as Band of Brothers, the first episode this last weekend was pretty darn good IMO. I thought the first episode of BoB was a little boring and big into character development, this one was a little less and a bit more action.

I'm waiting until it comes out on DVD/BR, which according to Blu Ray guru CV will now not be available until the second half of this year ... shoot.

We watched it and thought it was very good. We'll certainly be watching the rest of them.
We really loved Band of Brothers. It's probably one of the best things I've ever seen on TV, actually. Meaningful. Powerful. Moving. Epic.
You can certainly tell that The Pacific was put together by the same group of people.

Yeah, the format, even the fonts and what not are exactly the same. You don't mess with what works I guess.
