...Last business trip of the year will have me in LA for a couple of days and then in Denver. My next trip to Los Angeles after this will be with me bringing my family. I think that I have a large number of items picked out to do and see, but I might have to see if there is anything else family friendly and easy on the wallet...

LA, Family friendly?
Isn't it always falling into the ocean, spurting volcanoes, being invaded by aliens or getting razed by giant dinosaurs? Oh wait. Kids love giant dinosaurs. Good choice!

With great power comes Awesome irresponsibility.

A Word of Caution for Domestic Air Travelers

Yesterday, a 47 year old engineering prof from U of U was arrested at Logan after a flight from Salt Lake. The married father of 3 was seen by more than one passenger looking at child pornorgraphy on his laptop in flight. A passenger even took a photo of him, his laptop, and one of the open pages. Hey, Creepy, meet Stupid.

I guess he'd already seen Snakes on a Plane and Sherlock Holmes 2, or they were out of blankets.

Twisted and hugely screwed up, I can understand, but, seriously, how can someone with a PhD be so stupid, bold, arrogant?

I think the FAA needs to hire laptop monitors now as well as flight marshalls.

Think I'd make a good "laptop cop?"

Have fun in LA, Nick!

Oh, let's not stop there. Let's monitor the person's brain waves and if there is any suspicious activity going on in there, we could just throw them out of the plane.

Only caveat is, a TSA member has to be present to sexually assault the ingrate first. Cameras not allowed.

See! I still think there's a TSA job for me somewhere in all this.

Not sure what to do with this sunshine and 78F forecasted weather... Thursday, when I am in Denver, it is forecasted to be a high of 29F.... I will probably get sick.
