Another thing that I noticed with the new system is that when a person changes his avatar, it works retroactively. That is, all of a person's posts now are viewed with the current avatar attached, not with the one that he actually had at the time he posted.

I miss pictures of people's kids when they were littler, and Ken when he had a cat on his shoulder.

Can this be changed back to the way it used to be?

Even with the old system, those avatars would only stay as long as the person kept the pictures hosted on whatever website server. (for ex. photobucket)

But now the board reacts like YaBB - where your current avatar is used for all posts... rather than the avatar at the time being saved with the post.
