1. Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief

Could have been really great. Some parts the movie looks like a Hollywood movie other parts look like an ABC afterschool special. Watchable throughout but disappointing. The sound was pretty great. Randy Thom supervised the sound design and he is one of my favorites.

2. The Sorcerers Apprentice

Looked like a Hollywood movie from start to finish. I liked 95% of the movie and I enjoyed it. The person who came up with "Prime Merlinian" should be exiled from the writer's guild.

Good sound.

3. Going the Distance

Drew Barrymore chick flick. I kept making up excuses so my wife would watch it without me. I laughed a lot and I am glad I watched it.
