Each year around Christmas my girlfriend buys a few knit mice for her cat 'Wink'which are hand-made(knit) by one of the ladies who frequent the church Linda attends. Wink goes truly bonkers over these mice in no small part because they are stuffed with Canada's finest. He spends many afternoons with a rodent inspired buzz....

So, on behalf of Wink, we sent a stuffed mouse(Christmas present) to his girlfriend 'Suzie' who lives with my aunt in Washington state...not sure if this long distance relationship thing works with cats or not but...I got a call from my aunt and she said Suzie was all excited and tearing around, pulling at and playing with the bow on her wrapped present anxiously waiting to see what was inside. When my aunt opened it, Suzie grabbed the mouse and spent most of the rest of the day in glassy daze gnawing and playing with her knit rodent friend...."What's in it?" my aunt asked, "Does it have Catnip in it? she normally hates Catnip"....

Crazy cats!!

I have a plastic cup with lid full of catnip hidden in an upper cabinet. This is very dangerous stuff with my cat. If you open it up for her to inspect, the paws go in, and catnip spews out.

If I put a small cat toy, like a foam ball, or stuffed mouse in it for a while to gather up the smell, then give her the toy. She'll rip it to shreds until there's nothing but pieces and stuffing laying around the floor. Meow!

I looked at the subject line and thought this must be about musicians, actors, or B.C. bud grin

Could still be about BC bud. He didn't exactly say what Canada's finest was.
