Brandon, that's a great price for the 1100. All of the Harmony's have the same capability (except for the RF models). Myself and several others on this forum have good experiences with the Harmony's. I would say go for it. Just make sure you want the 'coffee table' form factor of the 1100 versus the 'one handed' form factor of the Harmony One.

And for the PS3 I would recommend you get the Harmony PS3 Adapter for movie watching through the PS3.

Where are you getting it for that price? I have the Harmony 1000 and couldn't be happier, but at that price I may have to pick it up and sell my 1000.

I have had the 890 (w/ RF) for about two years and it is very reliable. It lacks some of the customization of the Prontos, but in the end, the reliability is worth the more standard setup. If you have more than one zone, or if you hide your gear behind doors or walls, the RF feature is worth its weight in gold. I can sit on the back deck and change volume on the Zone 2 Receiver for outside, then bring it into the HT and have it turn on the projector, dim the lights, etc.

Good product.
