The reason I'm looking at these two is that they both have the features I'm looking for.

One of the main features I need is the video up-conversion composite/S-video to HD-compatible component video.

YPAO is said to be superior to the EzSetup on cnet.com, but I've read on this forum that YPAO does not work for some.

Also, I've seen lots of talk here about the 1400 but not the 630.

These two receivers more or less have what I require - the 630 however is about CDN$200 more. etronics seems to have the lowest prices among companies that ship to Canada, but the 1400 is usually out of stock.

The Onkyo TX-NR901 is the only model with up-conversion to component and it's out of my price range.
And the Denon AVR-3083 (d/c in any case) is also a little too much.

So should I wait for the 1400 to come back in stock or just go ahead with the 630? Basically, is it worth the extra $200?
