Can anyone make comments on comparisons among the Axiom EP500, SVS, and Hsu subwoofers?

I am sure that you could grab the tech specs from each of the web sites, but outside of that, there is a variance in speaker models. By that I mean which SVS and HSU? The closest one in the price range, or in specs? Or do you just mean build quality?

I have an SVS and love it. As for HSU and the newer Axioms, I hear great things about them too. For quality I think that you will be very happy with any of the products, after that, it is a matter of price and tech specs, which can be compaired once people know which models you are considering.

I don't own any of them, but anecdotal comments I've heard from others echo the above. The only thing I can add might seem trite or it might be all important: Only the Axiom sub would match the finish of the other speakers if that's important to you (assuming you own Axioms as your other speakers).

Good point, Mark, about the color matching. I have nice cherry colored Axioms, but a big black SVS. Of course I could have dropped like $5000 and gotten dual SVS SS subs in a matching color, but hey, I can't afford that.

I see you out here quite a bit during "business hours" too..

Seems like any more I leave an IE or Firefox window open to Axiom all day.

I notice that numbers of posts during "work hours" always seem to be higher on Fridays!

So you don't think you're being ignored, there really aren't a whole lot of comparison posts regarding Axioms' 500 sub as it's a pretty new product. There have been a few people on the boards here who have gotten one, but they're not so prolific that there's been head to head comparisons by anyone here as far as I know (someone please correct me if I'm wrong!).
