Ok so since getting my Emotiva I've been trying to hook up a 12 volt trigger. Unfortunately the lead from the Denon is different than the receptor in the XPA-3. I'm now on my third try at Radio Shack trying to get the right combo. I have the mono plug I need for the amp, but I'm not exactly sure what kind of plug goes into the Denon???

I'm currently trying a 6.3mm plug, I'll let you know if it works once I get home. If it doesn't, does anyone know what size plug Denon's use??? Also, why do these guys down here at Radio Shack keep telling me to make sure I pay attention to the polarity... does it even matter on a power push? I thought I'd read on here that you could use a single bare wire if you wanted to?

My Denon 4806 uses a mono miniplug.

I'm pretty sure the polarity matters. The Denon manual doesn't have the required info?

So, to recap, even destroying a Denon manual by burning it does not keep it from sucking.

That's correct. I thought maybe by sacrificing my Denon manual to the Home Theater gods I would somehow find the info I wanted once I reserected said manual via the internet.

Didn't happen! \:\(

Yeah, I did a search on it. I'm surprised I didn't find anything either. Well, you could also go with the avoid the Denon trigger route and use a 12V power brick plugged into the Denon's switched power outlet. That's what I ended up doing with my EP350.

You plugged you EP350 right into your Denon? Did you have to use a cheater plug?

I think he plugged a 12-volt AC/DC adapter into the switched circuit and used it to trigger the EP-350.
