I use my M3ti's as monitors for my computer, therefore I very rarely turn off my Rotel Preamp and Parasound amp. I was wondering if this will in any way decrease the life of the components, either the speakers or amps. Or, will not constantly flicking the power switch actually save undue strain?? And information on the subject would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
-Josh

Josh, this topic was discussed very recently (within the past 2 weeks).
Try a quick search.

I believe the consensus was that, no, it won't harm the equipment, but you'd be doing the planet a big favor by not wasting power when it's not in use.
