Saw a commercial for this last night Tube Amp - London Drugs I know nothing about tube amps but thought some of you might be interested or get a kick out of what the Ipod is in to know. You have to admit though, it looks pretty slick.

I saw the commercial as well. The only tubes I like are tube tops, but I must admit it looked very cool.

Actually an iPod playing ALAC-encoded tunes through tubes is...not bad. Not as good as CD or vinyl but certainly passable. Most people wouldn't hear much of a difference. By which I mean people who don't spend hours in audio forums every day.
