hey folks, i have been trying to find a way to upgrade my system at minimal cost. After considering changing my amplification i have moved to changing my speaks. I have a Tjoeb '99 CDP, Rotel RB 980BX amp(120 wpc), Quicksilver line pre and Sound Dynamics RTS-3 bookshelf speakers. I have some MMGs in storage for now. I bring those out as my mood dictates.
Now, the RTS 3s got much the same reviews that the Axiom M3s and M22s(the speakers i am considering) got. "They are cheap, $300 and sound like speakers 4-5 times more expensive, blah blahblah." Sounds very familiar to what i read about the Axiom M3s & M22s.
I have a SDynamics RTS-1000 powered sub that i run with the RTS3s.
I want to know if i were to purchase the M22s if it would be a parallel move. Should i just save a couple hundred more and get the M60s or 80s?
I guess this is where the 30 day trial comes in handy.
