Hi all,
Just as a brief recap- I am too a proud Axiom owner who bought a 150 center and 2 M22-TIs about 3-4 years ago. I am finally going to purchase the QS4s to complete my 5.1 set-up but I have a couple quick questions.
Are there any stand alteratives to the ones sold by Axiom for the QS4s?
Also- for those who have used the Axiom mounting brackets for the walls, do they leave a big hole when they are removed or can it easily be repaired with some plaster and paint? Are there any cheaper wall mounting alternatives that you recommend (like maybe through parts express)?
The reason I am asking is that I live in a rental and I don't want to mess up the walls too bad with the wall brackets. So I am going back and forth on the stand versus wall mounting option.
Best
Josh

The QS8 wall bracket uses four or more screw holes. If you use drywall screws, the resulting hole should very easily repaired with paint and some caulk - just like hole from picture hangers. If you can get lucky and grab a stud in the wall you could get by with less than all screws and resultant holes.

Due to the unique design of the Axiom Q's with the bottom driver, I'm not aware of any other stands besides the custom ones Axiom makes for the Q's. If your a DIY guy, you could build your own, that would not be cheap.

Welcome to the forum lake36 I have the QS4 and use the standard T wall bracket that comes with the purchase of them. I initially had them installed on the walls in my bedroom. Obviously they leave holes in the wall when taken down but it is easy to fix. For renting purposes (if allowed) before you leave all you would have to do is buy some plaster, fill the holes, let the plaster dry then sand it down. Take a chip of paint off the wall and bring it to a paint shop for a colour match, then buy a small can and touch up the walls....easy If you decide to use the T wall bracket, make sure to install the screws into studs in the walls.
I’m armed and I’m drinking. You don’t want to listen to advice from me, amigo.
