Two Axiom EP175 two Paradigm DSP 3100 Two SVS NSD-PB10 or one EP350 Just for music mainly or TV watching SportsCentre in mornings or Ohprah/Dr.Phil  Mainly for upstairs not for HT

Based on what you say your going to use it for, why are you considering 2 subs?

Unless you are listening to a lot of pipe organ music or stuff with a lot of synth, a sub that reaches to 30Hz, maybe even only 35Hz would be enough.
I would look at duals (to smooth out the in room response) with a -3db point somewhere in the 30-35Hz range.
I suspect that the PB10NSD was optimized for HT and has a midbass hump to give more punch for those dramatic kabooms.
Is the DSP3100 the sub that Jay tested in his subwoofer quest?

Based on what you say your going to use it for, why are you considering 2 subs? Just not quite enough punch, specially on bass drum. Want just a bit more umphhh. Even now considering a EP125. Something to take away some of the work of the towers. Even room response, also with the smaller sub one by each speaker is better than one in a corner. I have Paradigm Monitor 7's, so they are not overbearing speakers, but hell I got them for $425 from a guy who bought them Feb 23. ... He bouught a pair of PSB Silvers second hand and his wife said one of them gotta go. Atleast now I have something to listen to while I piece together my Axioms.

Yes, have a audition to hear the DSP3100 Thinking, I may order the Axiom and take them in for side by side comparrison yeh, I am taking in some Cd's and a few DvD's ( music video's ) that I like. Aylana Myles = Got this thing for you .... nice tight punchy bass note quick Some Eagles songs in Hell Freezes over. Nicklebacks ...All the Right Reasons ...specifically Daniels opening drum track Fleetwood Mac's ... The Dance Dvd a few songs on that

You may want to hear the DSP3200 and 3400 at the same time if you are able to. Not sure if you're auditioning at a friend's or at an audio retailer.
