 Onkyo remote supposed to be backlit?

Hey folks, I just got my Onkyo reciever in but the remote seems kind of odd. when any button is pressed only the small "amp" button and the "+" button to the left of it light up red. All of the buttons are of the same material (except for 3) and look like they should light up but they don't. Anyone have an ONkyo RC-570M remote or have any idea if more than 2 keys light up? Thanks folks.

I have the RC 567M Onkyo remote and it does the same thing.Actually the "+" button doesn't light up but gets some light from the amp button.The other buttons that are backlit are the remote mode ones.
