I am looking at purchasing either the 60's or 80's. Either will be run bi-amped from a Carver AV-705X. My listening room is 15x14x8. I use it for about 50/50 HT/Music. I am worried that the M80's will be to large for my room. Which would you recomend. I am leaning towards the M60s if I dont sacrifice any sound quality, imaging, or anything like that.

Thanks

Either one will work well in your room. The main difference will be the overall output and maximum output level. The M80s will be a little more dynamic sounding also. Other than this these two products are very similar in performance.

What does better dynamic mean?
And what do you mean by higher output?

Better dynamic means that the requirement for short bursts of high power at various frequencies will be able to be reproduced to higher volume levels without distortion from the M80s.

Higher output has two meanings. First the M80s will play louder for each watt of power that you deliver to them. Second the overall achievable volume level will be higher in the M80s.

Hope this helps you out with these terms.
