Wow, not to sound like a Denon mark - never having owned one - but they've really knocked it out of the park in my mind.

Check out the new model announcement.

My first impression is significantly more for less at every price point.

Thoughts?

Sweet. The 3310 is now at the top of my gotta-try-that list. I'm eager to hear what the differences are from the 3808.

The 3310 is the 28XX, the 4310 is the new 38XX series or so I have read here and there.

It's only a logical transition from their manuals being really confusing to the actual models themselves being really confusing.

They'll be "confusing-up" their website soon, and product photos will only feature the sides of the componants.

Yeah, they probably realized their manuals were linked to an incorrect model number (hence the confusion). To avoid reprinting, they are changing the model numbers to fit the manuals.
