hy all,
i have the speaker which have the sensitivity of (1W/1m)90dB. and according to (1W/1m) scale, "on 80feet 28dB sound reduce" and my remaining sound level is 62dB. Now i want to add 28dB sound level so what should i do how can i change my transformer taps setting (available setting is 1w,3w and 5w or should i reduce the distance because i have to maintain 90dB at any cost...
plz give me the suggestion. sorry for my english
thanks advance

At that distance you need 600w to yield 90db.....

At 5w you need to be 2.25m or less to maintain 90db.

Is this a real question? If so you are stuck.

In my line of work these tap settings and 90db minimum coincide with fire alarm system specs...

I'm guessing yours is a tube amp question though. smile
