Looking forward to the upcoming Axiom Picnic.

A couple of weekends ago, we were passing through Dwight Ontario and my wife took these shots:

We just had to stop at the birthplace of my speakers.

Can't wait for a factory tour.

You probably could have schedule a tour when you were just there if you had planned it ahead of time.

Speaking of the factory tour . . . I have our on-site photographer and uploader at the ready for picnic day! (In case Bray can't make it!) Any requests for must-see shots? Not the confidential stuff, of course, but . . . dust collector? Chipper? What interests you?

But, it's the CONDFIDENTIAL STUFF that interests us most.

Seriously, any products which are available for photos are, I'm sure, of interest, and after that, to me, the most important thing is the people (and YES, that includes you too, Amie. C'mon now!) It's really wonderful to be able to put faces to names, and see what you all will be doing. I do so wish I could be there. I'm hoping for lots of posts and pics.

Don't intend to Shanghai the thread, but any shots of drivers and other components being installed could be lots of fun.

And Yes! include pictures of the folks who complete the assembly operations; especially if they're the same folks who built My speakers

I'd like to add a comment: About those folks who assembled all five of my speakers; Thank you! Fine job!! Luv 'em

I'd like to see some more "zany" pictures of Alan. Maybe it's time he updated his forum picture id.

There is rumoured to be a room where M80s are run at ungodly power levels occasionally. I'm bringing my hearing protectors and earplugs (good for about 35 dB together, I think, enough that you don't really notice handguns going off beside you )

If you don't notice handguns going off beside you with only 35 dB of NR, you must be in a room of M80s already!

Well, I guess you hear the BIG handguns, but the little stuff like 45's and 9mm's you don't notice so much.

It's actually kind of dangerous shooting a .22 with double ear protection because you can't tell if the gun fired normally or just squibbed and left a bullet in the barrel.

Anyways, I think I'm ready for the "loud room"
