Hello,

Is there a step-by-step instructions to upgrade the Axiom Air from Raspberry Pi 2 to Pi 3?

Hi Corsida,

We can send you a Raspberry Pi 3 to install in your AxiomAir. It needs to have the SD Card programmed at the factory. The steps after receiving it are to install it by removing the large cover on the bottom of your AxiomAir, then plug in an Ethernet cable, then turn it on and wait for the initial boot to finish with a voice saying "Quality Control Passed", the shut it down, unplug the Ethernet cable, and turn it back on.

Thanks Ian, I ordered the Raspberry Pi 3 off your site and it didn't come with SD card. How can I go about getting an SD card programmed?

Thanks,

Lee

Hi Lee,

If you could PM me your order number for the Pi3 I will send you an SD card and the instructions for the initial boot procedure.

The Pi3 does run a bit faster. That is the only usable advantage in an AxiomAir.
