Hello, I have recently been having trouble with my N3 connecting to my network. I have been on the latest firmware for awhile, and no variables in my setup have changed. A couple details:

DLNA Server: J. River Media Center 24.0.78
Axiom N3 Firmware: 2.10.3

Symptoms:


  • Wireless does not work after connecting to my WLAN via the AxiomAir app, even after a factory reset. I can see an IP address consumed via my router admin, but attempting to connect to the HTTP endpoint results in no response. The odd thing is, even after a factory reset, the password for my network is pre-filled when I am in AxiomAir Network settings. I would think a factory reset is supposed to remove this.
  • When wired, I can connect to the AxiomAir HTTP endpoint and modify its settings. However, Spotify Connect is the only thing working. My DLNA server does not under any circumstances see the AxiomAir.



I followed the directions here for reinstalling the latest firmware, but this has not helped.

I saw a later post in the above thread about reflashing the SD card. Would someone (Ian?) be kind enough to provide me with instructions to do so? Barring that, further troubleshooting steps are also appreciated.

A final note: I have dual batteries for my N3, however I unhooked them when I started troubleshooting to eliminate them as a variable.

Hi Kerr,

Can you try shutting down your N3 and then booting it back up without the WiFi dongle plugged in.

Ian,

I shut down and rebooted with the WiFi dongle unplugged, with Ethernet connected. My DLNA server still does not see the Axiom Air, with Spotify Connect still being my only connection option.
