Hi guys - we just got an Axiom Air N2 for my Jeep dealership's showroom. We fired it up on Wi Fi today, and it is FANTASTIC!!
We even had customers commenting on how beautiful Christmas music sounded on it. The showroom is about 4000 square feet, and there is no place where the music doesn't sound fantastic.
What about your N3? How does it compare to the N2?
Mojo - This is the first time I have heard an Axiom Air with Wi Fi - my son is going to set both the N3 and the other N2 at my man cave this weekend. Will try to do some back and forth then.
I'm curious what the imaging and soundstage are like.
There won't be much - the tweeters are about 8 inches apart.
That's a very negative way of portraying it, Craig. A more positive approach is to say, "You will have tremendous soundstage and imaging Mojo if you stand 8" away from the Air".
Mojo - if you build a little shelf to keep the N2 on your lap while you are listening, the soundstage will be immense.
And the ladies across the street will think you are even kinkier than they thought.
Win-Win!
Craig, you are such a great salesperson. Sold!
I just switched out the N2 for the N3 .For me the N2 was missing something.

You happy with the N3, RJ?
I have not received it but my neibour has one of the first ones and it is unreal good bass clean. Really can't compare the N2 the N3 .I brought it over to my house for a few day to do so comparative listening. Its a bit big but sound quality excellent.

Once you hear better, it's hard to go back to lesser.
The N3 blows every other portable I've heard out of the water when it comes to fidelity. My problem is that I am a soundstage and imaging fanatic. If I can't have those two things, fidelity does not matter. So until I can breach that barrier, I may as well listen to my 18 year-old RatShack boom box out on the deck.
Mojo ,
N3 up and running I made the right choice changing it out. This thing is a beast. i LOVE IT
RJ
I pegged you for an N3 kinda guy, RJ.
Mojo,
How are the Active LFRS
RJ
RJ, you can read my feedback on the active LFRs starting at post# 434312 at the link below. They are the most incredible speaker I've ever heard.

Craig, I have anxiously been waiting for your brat's assessment of N2 vs N3. I've been teaching my brat to avoid any music reproduction system that doesn't result in imaging and a soundstage.
