Now that we've established that I'm a nerd, did anyone else see the Star Trek promo and think this?
Why the heck would anyone build a starship on the ground?
Other than that, wicked cool. But...
Why would someone build a starship with propellers?
Why would someone build a starship with propellers?
Can I use that as the dragon's riddle in my story?
My dad's a big Star Trek fan. I know because when a Star Trek trailer comes on at the movies, that is the only time he stops eating popcorn.
Only if you reference me in the acknowledgements
.
Oh, of course. Your name is Regina, right?
(now that I know she monitors the board, I have to step up the references to her)
Guess I just got too geeky for this forum.
Ha ha, no. I still haven't even seen the Star Trek teaser trailer, though. I'll have to download it to my PS3 and watch it.
I was a pretty big Trek fan back in the day..
I was waiting for a link to the trailer before I commented. Now I have to go find it on my own so you don't feel so alone.
Looks like they have already pushed it back! The trailer says Christmas 2008, the page says May 2009.
The ship is obviously being built under government contract!
Thanks for Link. Truly is just a teaser. Nice to know welders still have a job in the space age though.
Hey thanks for the info and link. I hadn't heard about this one.
