Along with the originals and downloads, it adds 82 more songs.

Nice list, Everything from classic Fleetwood Mac to Modest Mouse to (FINALLY) AC/DC. Although if I am actually going to try singing Ace of Spades by Motorhead, I'm going to have to take up smoking 5 packs a day to replicate his voice.

I was so hyped about Rock Band when it came out, but alas, not for the Wii until a couple of weeks ago, and then it is so stripped down it was sad.

Guitar Hero 4 is supposed to have superior drums (and other features), but of course a different track list. It would be nice if they improved on their instruments for Rock Band 2. Then we would have some solid competition. Of course, if I could just plug in my Roland V-Drums into either one, that would be awesome!

Thanks for the track list. It is nice to see what will be coming up in software anyway.

There's no Rock Band drill peripheral yet.

Or a Rock Band 44Hz to 48Hz converter.

From Wikipedia:

 Quote:
Groups such as Van Halen, The Eagles, Steely Dan and Guns N' Roses have working deals with these companies to include their songs within future games.[54] However, not all bands are comfortable with this; Led Zeppelin has turned down offers from both games to include their music due to concerns that Jimmy Page has with releasing the master recordings of their music.

Some good news for you then Nick, but no pics yet.

Copied from Eurogamer.net

"Apparently the new standard drums will look much like the kit which is available now. However, the drum pads will be "velocity sensitive" and won't be so noisy, and the pedal will be reinforced with metal. You'll be able to buy clip-on cymbals separately.

The second kit has been licensed by drum-makers Ion and is accordingly called the Ion Drum kit. It won't be cheap, but for the extra cash you'll get three electromagic cymbals and adjustable pads, plus what appears to be a metal frame. In addition, it'll work as a standalone electronic drum kit when you're not playing the game. "

Meh. Ion? They are the crap of the real drum world, but then again, for a game interface, you want something "less expensive" than what else is out there, so I guess that IS good. :-)

At least it is a step in the right direction. It sounds like they are adding a "real Stratocaster" guitar controller as well.

LOL Indeed?

I was going to rant on about being able to deflect or destroy all of your bullets with my saber and Jedi intuition, after all bullets have to be slower and easier to deflect than blaster fire, but then I realized I would be in serious danger of being compared to these guys.
