Walmart is running Saturday morning sales for the holiday shopping season.

One of the items up this Saturday in stores is an 80GB PS3 for the normal $399, but you get a $100 Walmart gift card. I know that some people were able to, with a little work, somehow get the $150 credit from Sony using their Sony credit card AND get the $100 Walmart card, basically making the $400 PS3 cost $150 since the Walmart card can go towards your normal food/clothing or whatever expenses (or for some games)...

And wow, I guess we're starting the holiday shopping season early this year!

Last year Walmart had "secret in store sales" for the first Friday in November... That was when they had the $98 HD-DVD player (HD-A2) for sale. That is also the first time that I met Randy (Sirquack) in person. Which was strange since we live about 15 miles from each other and had never met before that, but that is another story.

I would have bought the PS3 if I didn't have a need for analog out, which is why I just picked up my Sony BDP-S550. Of course, my wife is STILL telling me that it is for Christmas and I can't touch it.

Do some searching for the PS3 deal with the Sony credit card and Walmart gift card. I know people managed to get both in the past, I just don't know how.
